This specimen was lot 2266 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $180. The catalog description[1] noted, "SAFAVID: Safi I, 1629-1642, AR abbasi, Tiflis, AH"104" (for 1040), decent strike, VF. Tiflis is the old name for Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia." This type was struck in Tiflis AH 1039-1045 and 1048, one of 23 mints to do so.
