This specimen was lot 2065 in Sincona sale 66 (Zurich, October 2020), where it sold for 725 CHF (about US$955 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"CZECHOSLOVAKIA | misc. Republik. Dukat 1923, Kremnitz. St. Wenzel. Gutes vorzüglich. (republic of Czechoslovakia, ducat of 1923, Kremnitz mint. Obverse: St. Wenceslas. Good extremely fine.)"
During the brief existence of the first republic of Czechoslovakia (1918-39), the Kremnica mint managed to produce some handsome coins, including this scarce type issued 1923-38 and restruck in 1951. It was accompanied by a gold two ducats, five ducats and ten ducats. The obverse portrait is of "good" king Wenceslas, he of the well-known Christmas carol.
