This specimen was lot 1526 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: AV 50 kurush, 1923 year 49 (1972), prooflike, NGC graded MS63." This type was struck years 20 and 27-87 (1941-2010) as a bullion coin. It is not known circulated.

Recorded mintage: 28,000.

Specification: 3.61 g, 0.917 fine gold, AGW 0.1064 oz.
