The first specimen was lot 2828 in Goldberg sale 34 (Beverly Hills, February 2006), where it sold for $460. The catalog description[1] noted, "Honduras. 50 Centavos, 1884. Fully lustrous and scarce this nice. PCGS graded AU-58." The type was issued 1883-87, 1896-97 and 1908 and usually comes poorly struck. Many overdates and varieties exist.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 12.5 g, .900 fine silver, .361 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
