Independent Armenia began issuing coins the same year as the ceasefire was signed with Azerbaijan (1994). The script used on the coins was created in about 300 AD specifically for writing the Armenian language. The example shown is an 100 dram.

Specification: 4 g, nickel-plated steel, 22.5 mm diameter.
