This specimen was lot 24356 in Heritage sale 3009 (Chicago, April 2010), where it sold for $172.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Overijssel gold Ducat 1608, VF, test cut in obverse field." Ducats were struck in all of the provinces that today make up the Netherlands. This type is recorded in the SCWC for Overijssel for 1603-16, 1630-40, 1646, 1660-66.
Recorded mintage: 252,490 for 1608-10.
Specification: 3.5 g, .986 fine gold.
