This specimen was lot 3162 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $59.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES: Wilhelmina, 1890-1948, AE ½ cent, 1914, much original red mint luster, NGC graded MS63 RB." This is the first year of the type, which was also struck in 1916, 1921, 1932-33.
Recorded mintage: 50,000,000.
Specification: 2.3 g, bronze, 17 mm diameter.
