There are 32 dates in the series, some expensive but only the 1921 is rare. The 1908 is a common date. The total production for the series is about 211 million. The design was also used on bronze one, two and ten centimes of the Belle Epoque. All the bronze five centimes pieces were demonetized in 1935. This specimen was lot 77067 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRANCE. 5 Centimes, 1908. Paris Mint. NGC MS-65 Brown."
