This specimen was lot 2016 in Sincona sale 66 (Zürich, October 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"ROMANIEN, Republik, seit 1948. 100 Lei 1999, Bukarest. Goldener Helm. 25'000 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. Mit Zertifikat mit der Ausgabenummer 2'507. (republic of Romania, hundred lei of 1999, Bucharest mint, Golden Helm. 25'000 pieces struck, Choice Proof, With certificate with number 2'507 of issue.)"
Other 100 lei were also struck that year (KM 148, 149 in silver).
