This specimen was lot 1252 in Sincona sale 76 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 20,000 CHF (about US$24,276 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALY | House of Savoy / Sardinia. Carlo Emanuele IV. 1796-1802. Doppia 1798, Torino. Sehr selten, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. FDC. NGC MS65. Prachtexemplar. (Italy, kingdom of Sardinia, Charles Emanuel IV, 1796-1802, doppia of 1798, Turin mint. Very rare, especially in this condition, Uncirculated, Cabinet piece.)"
