Moussesian, Munich, in 1998."</blockquote> According to the SCWC, this ashrafi was struck AH 1160-1161 at Isfahan (shwon here), Herat, Mashhad, Qazvin and Shiraz. Adel Shah was defeated and deposed in June 1748 and executed a few months later. We don't know who issued this coin in Adel Shah's name.

This specimen was lot 48 in Sincona sale 92 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$520 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
