This specimen was lot 70524 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $70. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRENCH SOMALILAND. 1 Franc, 1949. PCGS MS-65 Secure Holder. Area of present-day Djibouti. Only 200,000 struck f[or] both 1948 and 1949. Well struck as per usual."
Recorded mintage: 200,000.
