This specimen was lot 10746 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $317. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Chur. 2/3 Taler, 1689. NGC EF-45." The thalers of the canton of Chur are rare and expensive. This two-thirds thaler or gulden was issued 1689-90.
Recorded mintage: unknown but not expensive.
Specification: 19.8 g, silver, 37 mm diameter.
