The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA: Elizabeth II, 1952-present, AR 3 pence, 1961, NGC graded Proof 65." The regular issue is common but the proofs are not. The type was struck in large quantities 1955-64 and was the last threepence struck in Australia.
