This specimen was lot 74147 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. Dollar, 1999-P. Perth Mint. Year of The Rabbit. Elizabeth II. PCGS MS-69. Flashy and virtually flawless, this silver issue presents dramatic contrast between its matte fields and mirrorlike devices." This denomination was used for numerous NCLT's in 1999, including KM 398, 399, 400, 405, 476, 485, 502 (shown here), 604, 605, 606, 607, 608.
Recorded mintage: unknown plus 2,500 proofs.
