Latest revision as of 15:33, 30 July 2025
This specimen was lot 51127 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $1,800. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Silver 500 Pounds (Kilo), 2020. Llantrisant Mint. Elizabeth II. GEM PROOF. From the popular James Bond/007 series of commemorative issues, this massive specimen features the iconic Aston Martin DB5 with license plate BMT-216A. Immensely elegant and refined, with a great deal of argent frosting and mirrored brilliance in the fields. Housed in original box of issue, along with plate attesting to serial number (35) and certificate of authenticity." This, like many recent British NCLT's, is missing from the SCWC.
Recorded mintage: 70.
Specification: 1000 g, 0.999 fine silver.
Catalog reference: Fr-707, S-unlisted; KM-unlisted.
