This specimen was lot 1304 in Sincona sale 85 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 90 CHF (about US$121 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN, Reza Shah, 1304-1320 SH (1925-1941). 10 Dinars 1318 SH (1939 AD), Tehran Mint. Aluminum-Bronze. NGC MS63. Magnificent condition. From the Kian collection, auction SINCONA 49, October 2018, lot 332."
In SH 1310, a new mint was built in Tehran and German equipment installed and new denominations introduced. The pahlavi was raised in weight to match the British sovereign. This type was struck SH 1315-1321 and is common.
