Sincona sale 59, lot 2177

This specimen was lot 2177 in Sincona sale 59 (Zürich, October 2019), where it sold for 600 CHF (about US$727 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Republik. 2 Dukaten 1928, Kremnitz. 10. Jahrestag der Republik. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (republic of Czechoslovakia, double ducat of 1928, Kremnitz mint, tenth anniversary of the republic. Very fine-extremely fine.)"

This type, tho mentioned in Friedberg, is not listed in the SCWC, being disdained as a mere medal. A similar four dukaten (Fr-6) exists.
