This specimen was lot 4080 in Sincona sale 77 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 18,500 CHF (about US$22,455 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Bern | Stadt und Kanton. 3 Dukaten 1697, Bern. Zwei ovale Berner Wappen einander gegenübergestellt. Darüber jeweils ein Puttenkopf. Oben Krone, sowie links in einer Verschnörkelung der Buchstabe P für Poumarede. Unten die Wertzahl 3. Rv. Mann und Frau halten ein Tuch mit Inschrift und Jahreszahl. Sehr selten. Vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Bern, triple ducat of 1697, Bern mint. Obverse: two oval shields with the city arms, crown above, angel's head and value below; reverse: a man and woman hold a banner with inscription and date. Very rare, Extremely fine.)"
The climbing bear is the badge of Bern, Switzerland. This type, like all Bernese gold coins of the seventeenth century, is rare and expensive.
