This specimen was lot 11391 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €65 (about US$68). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 2 Öre, 1746. Avesta Mint. Fredrik I. NGC VF-35 Brown. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1743-50 and is fairly common in circulated condition.
Recorded mintage: 286,000 including 1746/47 overdate.
