This specimen is one of a type issued 1992-2009. It was superseded by a stainless steel type (KM 935) struck 2009-19. When it was introduced, one dollar was about three pesos; today (December 2024), US$1 = 20.6 pesos.

Recorded mintage: 105,000,000.

Specification: 3.04 g, aluminum bronze, 19.5 mm diameter, plain edge.
