The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Switzerland|SWITZERLAND]], 2 Franken 1961 B, Bern. ''Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Erstabschlag. FDC'' (Very rare in this condition, Specimen strike. Uncirculated)." This type was struck 1874-1967 in this alloy at the Bern mint. The design is still in use today tho the coin is now copper-nickel. This specimen is struck to the standard of the [[France 1920 2 francs KM-845.1|French two francs]] of 1866-1920. This is a very available date, tho the Specimens are scarce.
