This type is listed in the SCWC for 1785-96 and is the last testone of the eighteenth century. The testone was thirty baiocchi, while the scudo was one hundred baiocchi. The SCWC notes this type as common. The second specimen was lot 1615 in Künker sale 403 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €280 (about US$367 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Pius VI. 1775-1799. Testone A XI/1785, Rom. Mit Familienwappen des Monsieur Antonio Lante auf der Rückseite. Feine Patina, fast vorzüglich. (Papal States, Pius VI, 1775-99, testone of the year 11, 1785, Rome mint, with the mintmaster's arms on the reverse. Fine patina, about extremely fine.)"
