Andorra, a micronation wedged between France and Spain in the Pyrenees mountains, has normally used the coinage of her neighbors but on occasion has issued coins for sale to collectors. This specimen was lot 2170 in Sincona sale 51 (Zürich, October 2018), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$422 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Marti Alanis, Bischof von Urgell, 1971 - 2003. 250 Diners 1988. 700 Jahre Gründungsakte (Segon Pareatge). Nur 3000 Exemplare geprägt. FDC. (Andorra, Martin, bishop of Urgell, 1971-2003, 250 diners of 1988. 700th anniversary of the founding of Andorra. Only 3000 pieces struck, Uncirculated.)"
