This specimen was lot 1829 in SINCONA sale 1 (Zurich, June 2011), where it sold for 2200 CHF (about US$3,063 including buyer's fee). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Genf, Stadt Taler 1562. Gekrönter Doppeladler über rundem Stadtwappen. Rv. Strahlende Sonne mit Christus-Monogramm. Selten. Sehr schön. (City of Geneva, thaler of 1562. Crowned imperial eagle over the city arms; reverse: the ineffable name of God in a sunburst. Rare, very fine.)"
