This specimen was lot 23221 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "LIECHTENSTEIN. 5 Kronen, 1904. PCGS MS-64 Secure Holder. From a mintage of only 15,000 pieces. A lovely near-Gem with gorgeous silky luster and lightly toned surfaces. From the Keystone Collection." This type was issued 1900, 1904, 1910 and 1915 in small numbers but enough were saved that it is only somewhat scarce today. Altho the prince still issues commemorative coins on occasion, the locals use Swiss coinage in daily commerce.
Recorded mintage: 15,000.
Specification: 24 g, 0.900 fine silver.
Catalog reference: KM Y4, Dav-216.
