This specimen was lot 744 in Jean Elsen list 265 (Brussels, July-September 2013) where it was offered for €650 (about US$858 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ALLEMAGNE, SAXE-NEU GOTHA, Ernst der Fromme (1640-1675), AR Taler, 1669, Gotha. Mariage de son fils Friedrich et de Magdalena de Weissenfels. Droit: Les époux se donnant la main sous une colombe et le nom divin rayonnant. Revers: Inscription en douze lignes. Très Beau. (Germany, duchy of Saxe-New Gotha, Ernest (1640-75), silver thaler of 1669, Gotha mint, on the marriage of his son Frederick and Magdalena of Weissenfels. Obverse: bride and groom hold hands under a dove and the divine glory; Reverse: twelve line inscription. Very fine.)"
