This specimen was lot 1153 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $416.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "AWADH: Ghazi-ud-Din Haidar, 1819-1827, AR ½ rupee, Lucknow, AH1240 year 6, VF, RR." This type was struck years 1-8. Lucknow later became the center of the Indian Mutiny.
