Künker sale 263, lot 82
Halberstadt in 1547

This specimen was lot 82 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabruck, June 2015), where it sold for €400 (about US$517 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Halberstadt, BISTUM Albrecht V. von Brandenburg, 1513-1545. Taler 1544. Variante mit vollständiger Jahreszahl zu den Seiten des heiligen Stephan sowie mit drei Steinen unter der 15. R Hübsche Patina, sehr schön. (bishopric of Halberstadt, Albrecht of Brandenburg, 1513-45, thaler of 1544, variety with full date and three dots under the "15" of the date. Scarce, nice patina, very fine.)"

This type is listed for 1544-45. Davenport could not find a photo of this coin.
