This specimen was lot 35908 in Heritage sale 3038 (Dallas, January 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Overyssel. Provincial Lion Daalder 1641 MS62 NGC. Crude, as always, yet sharply struck for the type with much original luster remaining." Lion daalders were struck in most of the provinces that today make up the Netherlands. They had a face value of forty stuivers. This type is recorded in the SCWC for Overijssel for 1606-1666.

Specification: 27.68 g, .750 fine silver.
