This specimen was lot 23434 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (Newport Beach, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $930. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT. 50 Pounds, 1993. PCGS PROOF-69 Deep Cameo. Depiction of the burial mask of Tut Ankh-Amen. A brilliant proof with hard mirrored fields and frosted cameo devices." This type was issued in 1993 along with numerous other NCLT's such as KM 756 (Cleopatra), KM 775 (pyramids), KM 776 (sphinx), KM 777 (Ramses II), etc.
