This specimen was lot 2012 in Goldberg sale 122 (Los Angeles, June 2021), where it sold for $1,050. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. 30 Dollars, 1999. Silver Kilo (32.1989 ounces). Elizabeth II. Reverse: Two kookaburras on branch. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. Ex Ora Eads Collection." This monstrous object was struck again in 2000.
Recorded mintage: 12,000 + 20,000 proofs.
Specification: 1 kg, 0.999 fine silver, 32.19 troy oz ASW.
