This specimen was lot 3318 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN: Muzaffar al-Din Shah, 1896-1907, AR 500 dinars, Tehran, AH1317, a lovely example with light golden tone! PCGS graded AU58+." This type was struck AH 1313-1318 and undated. 500 dinars = half a kran.
Recorded Mintage: unknown but a rare date.
Specification: 2.30 g, 0.900 fine silver.
