This specimen was lot 4891 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabruck, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €3,200 (about US$4,188 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH. DIE ÖSTERREICHISCHEN STANDESHERREN, TRAUTSON, GRAFEN. Paul Sixtus von Falkenstein, 1598-1621. Doppelter Reichstaler 1618, Falkenstein. Von großer Seltenheit. Dunkle Patina, fast sehr schön.'' ([[Austria|Holy Roman Empire]], counts of Trautson. Paul Sixtus von Falkenstein, 1598-1621, double thaler of 1618, Falkenstein mint. Very rare, dark toning, about very fine.)"</blockquote> The count was given the mint right as a reward for his service to the emperor as governor of Tyrol. A single thaler (Dav-3422) also exists. All issues from this locality are rare and expensive.
