This specimen was lot 24114 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "Sinzendorf. Johann Wilhelm gold Ducat 1753-CGL, AU58 NGC, prooflike flash is maintained around the protected devices with trivial highpoint friction and no major marks. A rare issue that is perfectly suited for the world gold specialist. Quite possibly the Gold Coins of the World plate coin." This and another ducat of 1726 are the only issues from this locality in the eighteenth century. It is rare.
