This specimen was lot 37441 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Great Britain, Scotland|SCOTLAND]]. Turner (2 Pence), ND (1632-39). Edinburgh Mint. Charles I. PCGS EF-40. From the Richard August Collection." This type was worth a little less than an English farthing and was struck for Charles I before he embarked on the Civil War. The denomination comes in many types (KM 37, 41, [[Scotland (1629) 2 pence|KM 61]], [[Scotland (1632-39) 2 pence KM-65|KM 65]], [[Scotland (1632-39) 2 pence KM-67|KM 67]], 68, [[Scotland (1642-50) 2 pence|KM 69]], [[Scotland (1663) 2 pence|KM 100]], 114, 130, 137, 138) and was last struck in 1697. Many varieties exist in the style of the crown.
