This specimen was lot 72218 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $900. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "SAN MARINO. 50 Euros, 2005-R. Rome Mint. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Achieving a perfect grade level, this exquisite piece from the Italian microstate of [[San Marino]] celebrates International Peace Day." All of San Marino's coinage are NCLT's, minted at Rome out of Italy's allotment of euo coinage.
