This specimen was lot 2499 in Goldberg sale 91 (Los Angeles, June 2016), where it sold for $270.25. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "Samoa. 100 Tala, 1980 NGC PF69 UC. For the 1980 Moscow Olympics. Hurdling. NGC graded Proof 69 Ultra Cameo Silver Wings." Another hundred tala for 1980 exists ([[Samoa 1980 100 tala Fr-9|KM 42]]) honoring governor Wilhelm Solf.
