This specimen was lot 1135 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €650 (about US$840 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''REUSS-OBERGREIZ, GRAFSCHAFT, SEIT 1778 FÜRSTENTUM Heinrich XI. 1723-1800. Konv.-Taler 1769, Saalfeld. Attraktives Exemplar mit herrlicher Patina, fast vorzüglich.'' ([[Germany]], county of Reuss-Obergreiz, Henry XI, 1723-1800, convention thaler of 1769, Saalfeld mint. Attractive exampel with nice toning, choice extremely fine.)"</blockquote> Despite the tiny mintage, this type is considered only scarce. It is one of four thalers from this locale for the eighteenth century.
