This specimen was lot 3171 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,146 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''NIEDERLANDE, OVERIJSSEL, Provinz. 7 Gulden (1/2 goldener Reiter) 1761. GOLD. Fast vorzüglich.'' (Netherlands, province of Overijssel, seven gulden of 1761. About extremely fine.)"</blockquote> This expensive type is listed for 1760-63. It was the second largest gold coin regularly issued in the United Provinces after the "gold rider" ([[Overijssel 1763 14 gulden Fr-273|Fr-273]]).
