This specimen was lot 1976 in Sincona sale 59 (Zürich, October 2019), where it sold for 17,000 CHF (about US$20,589 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA | Olmütz, Bistum, Carl II. von Liechtenstein-Castelcorn, 1664-1695. Taler 1678, Kremsier. Sehr selten. Vorzüglich. Feine Patina.'' (bishopric of [[Austria, Olmutz|Olmutz]], Charles II of Liechtenstein-Castelcorn, 1664-95, thaler of 1678, Kremsier mint. Very rare, Extremely fine, Nicely toned.)"</blockquote> This one-year type is among the scarcer issues from this ecclesiastical state in Moravia, then part of [[Austria]], now the Czech Republic. Later thalers from the 1720's are listed quite inexpensively.
