This specimen was lot 935 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$248 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''DEUTSCHLAND Nürnberg, Stadt Konventionstaler 1762. Lege vindice Prägung. Winz. Schrötlingsf. Fast vorzüglich.'' (City of [[German States, Nurnberg|Nuremberg]], convention thaler of 1762, choice extremely fine.)"</blockquote> This type, struck 1760-63, is actually scarcer than many single year issues. The obverse features emperor Francis I, husband of Maria Theresia of [[Austria]].
