This specimen was lot 73003 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2023), where it sold for $660. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Niue|NIUE]]. 25 Dollars, 2016. New Zealand (Aukland) Mint. Elizabeth II. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. One of the first 100 struck. Star Wars series: Han Solo. An absolutely perfect Gem with Solo's side being completely matte, the special label NGC holder provides much more appeal than if this flawless coin were encased in carbonite. Includes information card and certificate of authenticity #0001." Wikipedia comments, <blockquote>"[[Niue]] is a self-governing state in free association with New Zealand, and New Zealand conducts most diplomatic relations on its behalf. As part of the Realm of New Zealand, Niueans are citizens of New Zealand and Charles III is Niue's head of state in his capacity as King of New Zealand. Between 90% and 95% of Niuean people live in New Zealand."</blockquote> The New Zealand mint is a private mint, whose website states, <blockquote>"With more than fifty years of experience, New Zealand Mint partners with some of the world’s biggest brands, including Star Wars™, Disney, Marvel, Star Trek, DC Comics, HARRY POTTER™, Game of Thrones™, and THE LORD OF THE RINGS™ to create innovative precious metal collectibles for fans around the world."</blockquote> This release from 2016 is no longer listed there so we must guess as to the specification.
