This specimen was lot 2968 in Sincona sale 18 (Zürich, May 2014), where it sold for CHF 450 (about US$593 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''Taler zu 30 Stüber 1563. Sehr schön-vorzüglich.'' (Netherlands, city of Nijmegen, thaler of thirty stuber of 1563. Very fine to extremely fine.)"</blockquote> [[Netherlands, Nijmegen|Nijmegen]], just south of Arnhem, is now part of Gelderland. Coins were issued for Nijmegen throughout the seventeenth century but are scarce compared to the issues of Holland or Utrecht.
