This specimen was lot 1965 in Jean Elsen sale 149 (Brussels, December 2021), where it sold for €250 (about US$339 including buyer's fees). (kingdom of the [[Netherlands]], Beatrix, 1980-2014, gold ten euro of 2002, wedding of prince Willem Alexander and Maxima. In capsule, Proof.)"</blockquote> This denomination is used exclusively for commemoratives and is not legal tender outside the Netherlands. A ten euro was also struck in silver for this occasion.
