This specimen was lot 1475 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "NAPLES: Carlo II, 1674-1700, AR tari, 1691. Initials IM // AG-A, central obverse adjustments, moderately toned, About Unc." The SCWC notes that 12 carlini = six tari = one piastra, where a piastra is roughly equal to a peso. This type was struck 1691-1700 and replaced an earlier type with a bare bust of the king. Charles II, the last Hapsburg king of Spain, was also king of Naples and Sicily. After his death the area passed out of the hands of the Spanish crown, only to be reconquered by them in the 1730's.
