This specimen was lot 764 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it did not sell. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Laos|LAOS]]: People's Democratic Republic, AV 10000 kip, 2001, Golden Dragon Fish, struck in 9999 fine gold, PCGS graded PF69 Deep Cameo, ex Howard A. Daniel III Collection." This is one of a series of NCLT's made and sold to collectors. We don't know if any made it to Laos.

Wikipedia comments, "The Asian arowana (''Scleropages formosus'') comprises several phenotypic varieties of freshwater fish distributed geographically across Southeast Asia."
