Kiangsi Province is located in south-eastern China. The first mint opened in 1729 in Nanchang. Modern mint equipment was installed in 1901, and production of copper coins only continued into the 1920's.

The specimen shown was lot 60341 in Ponterio sale 162 (Hong Kong, August 2011), where it sold for $388. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, “[[China|CHINA]]. Kiangsi. 10 Cash, CD (1912). 西省造壬子大漢銅幣當制錢十文。Struck in brass. 黃銅。NGC VF-30. Ex: The Frank Robinson Collection.”
