This specimen was lot 1520 in Sincona sale 76 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 15,000 CHF (about US$18,207 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Khevenhüller-Metsch, Fürsten. Johann Josef, 1742-1776. Dukat 1761, Wien. Von grösster Seltenheit. Fast FDC. NGC MS64 DPL. Prachtvoller Erstabschlag.'' ([[Austria]], principality of John Joseph, 1742-76, duca of 1761, Vienna mint. Of the highest rarity, About uncirculated, Magnificent first strike.)"</blockquote> This and two thalers ([[Khevenhuller-Metsch 1761 thaler Dav-1188|Dav-1188]] and [[Khevenhuller-Metsch 1771 thaler Dav-1189|Dav-1189]]) are the only issues from this prince in the eighteenth century.
