This specimen was lot 3165 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €3,600 (about US$4,852 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''NIEDERLANDE, CAMPEN, Stadt. 2 Dukaten o. J. (1590-1593). Spanischer Typ mit gotischer Umschrift. GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit. Winz. Kratzer, vorzüglich.'' (Netherlands, city of Kampen, undated double ducat, Spanish type with Gothic legends. Very rare, minor scratches, extremely fine.)"</blockquote> The towns of Deventer, Kampen and Zwolle are in central Overijssel and banded together in the mid-sixteenth century to issue coinage. This type is accompanied by a single ducat ([[Kampen (1590-93) ducat Fr-150|Fr-150]]).
